Reviews
“has a few minor surprises, but for the most part it meets expectations”
“On their 10th album, The Chemical Brothers remain the best in the business.”
View (DJ Naoyaman)
Their tenth album and a book looking back over thirty years, in the same autumn.
Released on 8 September 2023, it reached No. 6 in the UK.13 The guests are Halo Maud and Beck,5 and it was nominated for the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album.4
Seven weeks later, on 26 October, White Rabbit published Paused in Cosmic Reflection, the story of the two so far, with new interviews from Noel Gallagher, Aurora, Wayne Coyne, Beth Orton, Beck, Michel Gondry and more.5
A record facing forward and a book looking back. That both were in the shops in the same season is, I think, the most accurate self-introduction this band has ever given.
The album closes with its title track, "For That Beautiful Feeling".5
