The tenth with Dom and Nic.
A 2023 single from For That Beautiful Feeling. Halo Maud sings; the video appeared on 19 July 2023.1
Dom and Nic called it their tenth collaboration. To follow a character caught in a loop of death and rebirth, they used an Arri XR virtual production stage and long unbroken takes, moving between CGI worlds without a cut.3
Halo Maud is introduced as a Heavenly Recordings artist.4 As I wrote on the Exit Planet Dust page, the two once ran a club night with Heavenly in the basement of the Albany.5
Ten videos with the same directors, counting from "Setting Sun" in 1996.6 I see the number less as a video count than as the rings of a friendship.
