## ビートの作り手が、声の高さまで変えて出てくる。

発売当時の「Money Folder / America’s Most Blunted」を評したSteve “Flash” Juonは、後者でMadlibが声のピッチを変えたヴァースを披露している点を挙げている。ビートを作るだけでなく、声を加工して曲の内側へ入ってくる。

この指摘を入口に、DOOMとMadlibそれぞれの声を追ってみたい。聞こえてくる声の違いを、そのまま人数の違いだと思わずに聴く。加工方法の細部やサンプルの出どころは、この作品評だけからは決めつけない。
