View (DJ Naoyaman)

The album's first track became its last single.

"Music:Response" opens Surrender and was released on 6 March 2000 as the fourth single from it.56 The discography lists it as both a single and an EP.3

NME at the time called it a faux-naive Kraftwerk simulation.7

Kraftwerk has come up on this site a few times already: the sample at the start of their debut single, and the title of the 2020 exhibition.89

Sending out last the song you put first. I sense a kind of courtesy in that order, as if taking the album all the way round before letting it go.
